Bitcore New RPC methods DO NOT work

(김준범) #1

I am trying to get a full bitcore node running, and I followed the instructions from https://bitcore.io/guides/bitcoin to install.

I added the below three new config in my ~/.bitcoin/bitcoin.conf

addressindex=1
timestampindex=1
spentindex=1

and I started bitcoind.

I waited until its fully synchronized and made sure if the result of the ‘getblockcount’ is the same as the block I find in the highest block in blockchainfo.com.

I would like to use “getaddressutxos” method to find out unspent outputs for any bitcoin address, but it doesn’t work.

ex:) bitcoin-cli getaddressutxos ‘{“addresses”: [“12c6DSiU4Rq3P4ZxziKxzrL5LmMBrzjrJX”]}’

error code: -5
error message:
No information available for address

Is there anything that you think I should do?

they only work with BitPay’s bitcoind fork 0.12.x (old). Basically this is unsupported.

Ideally, these indexes would get moved into the block explorer code. Some have added patches to the Iquidus Explorer to get utxo indexes (not this project).
