Bitcored vs bitcore-node

Hello

I am kind of a newbie is this department, but what is the difference between https://bitcore.io/start and https://github.com/bitpay/bitcore-node . They seem very similar, but the command is different.

My purpose is to run a private node (not sure if I got the terminology right).

offtopic: Please suggest way of starting bitcore-node on startup in daemon mode ? Currently I run it via
cd nodeLocation && bitcore-node start

Using upstart and systemd is recommended for running as daemon, there is a guide at: https://bitcore.io/guides/upstart-daemon and sample scripts at https://github.com/bitpay/bitcore/tree/master/scripts/debian
