Run bitcored in the background at statup (raspberry pi)

Hi, I’ve been able to run the bitcored node on my pi and begin syncing to the blockchain. However, I am running it through ssh, and I’m not sure how to get bitcored to run on startup and in the background.

I read the instructions here, https://bitcore.io/guides/upstart-daemon, but I was unable to find the etc/init/bitcored.conf file to paste into the /etc/init/ folder.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

In my case .conf file is under:

/root/.nvm/versions/node/v4.2.0/lib/node_modules/bitcore/etc/init

you can use following command to search the file:

find / -name bitcored.conf
